Aspire For Her's First Hackathon!
CodeForHer is an all women virtual hackathon hosted by Aspire For Her, a not for profit organisation that aims to motivate women to pursue intentional and awesome careers as well as enable them to become financially independent.
This hackathon will give you the chance to contribute to the organization by building an application for us using your technology and design skills.
Get your thinking caps on and join us for 24 hours of fun and learning between 9th - 10th January 2021.

Eligibility
1. This is an all women hackathon and we encourage women of the age 17 and above to take part.
2. All participants must be members of Aspire For Her. If you haven't joined as a member yet, you can do so for free at https://forms.gle/rUw3dWgRmZ3dmjiu5.
3. Participants can
1) Take part individually, or
2) Take part as a pre-set team with a team size of 3 or less or
3) Choose to be randomly allocated into a team as decided by the organizers
Indicate your choice on the registration form.
4. Since this is a virtual hackathon, there are no restrictions on the country or location of the participants.
Requirements
- Submissions can be : 1) Web application 2) Mobile application 3) A thorough slide deck, based on one of the two themes chosen (Themes as mentioned in the Rules section). For code based submission a presentation or a video explaining the project must also be submitted to aid the judging process.
- Submissions must be new projects. All work specific to a submission must have been done during the hacking period (10:00 9 January 2021 to 12:30 10 January 2021). Code or other work may be reused for specific components, but recycling or reusing an entire project is unacceptable.
- Submissions must be solely the work of team members. A person not part of the team may not directly work on the project.

We want to see ideas that are practical and can be implemented by the organization to satisfy the objectives as mentioned in the themes. -
Completeness
In order to understand your vision we should be able to view a complete project. We know that 24 hours aren't sufficient for a thorough and perfect execution so set SMART goals to complete your project on time. -
User Experience
User experience – application must look attractive and be easy to use. Presentation – clear and creative video/ slide deck -
For code based projects - Code complexity
For us to be able to judge your skillset, seeing your code coverage/ complexity will let us know the effort of your project
